Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of 3 full-time staff. In 2019, the plant expanded to a hundred,000 sq ft of manufacturing area and now employs 120 folks. The manufacturing house was added to accommodate production for marine bearing systems and different new initiatives awarded to the corporate.
“We are happy with our success and progress to turn into a supplier of precision bearings to some of the largest multi-national corporations from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” stated Mark Greenlund, plant supervisor.
