Evoqua Water Technologies has entered into a definitive settlement to accumulate Smith Engineering Inc, a US designer, manufacturer and servicer of customized high purity water remedy equipment.
Headquartered in Chaska, Minnesota, Smith Engineering offers water treatment services, together with filtration, UV, reverse osmosis, and deionization, for the biotech/pharmaceutical, knowledge centre, meals and beverage, healthcare, medical system and microelectronics markets. The firm has greater than 1,200 prospects in North America.
Evoqua says that the acquisition will improve its portfolio of high purity water treatment systems and increase its service footprint in North America.
