Police arrested three folks at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Aiport who were allegedly carrying 15.5 kilograms of cocaine of their baggage. Reports say the medicine had a road worth of 46.5 million baht. The suspects, who’re from Brazil, flew to Thailand from their residence country on Monday on two different flights.
A 27 yr outdated man and 22 year outdated girl flew from Coribita, Brazil on Qatar Airways flight QR830 and landed in Bangkok at round 7am on Valentine’s Day. Three of their bags have been X-rayed at the airport, which confirmed “suspicious” objects in the compartments of the baggage. Customs officials searched the three baggage and located 9 kilograms of cocaine within the hid sections which had a avenue worth of round 27 million baht.
Officers also searched two luggage of a 24 yr outdated man who arrived at 12:40pm on flight QR836 from Brazil. They found 6.5 kilograms of cocaine valued at 19.5 million baht.
