A Bangkok police building that stored thousands of official state paperwork was razed to the bottom by a fierce blaze within the early hours of this morning.
About 50 firefighters dashed to the Fifth Division of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) on Sathorn Road to tackle the hearth. Fortunately, there were no casualties due to the blaze.
According to stories from Bangkok Post, the hearth began at around 4am and shortly spread throughout the three-floor constructing. The blaze was so intense that it brought on loud explosions, resulting within the closure of roads inside a 1-kilometre radius of the building by the police.
Firefighters battled the flames for over an hour before lastly bringing the blaze under management. Although nobody was inside the building on the time of the fire, several cars parked within the vicinity were damaged.
Upon studying of the incident, Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt instantly made his way to the scene. He revealed that a police officer who was guarding the building had heard a loud sound resembling an electrical brief circuit emanating from the primary floor of the constructing. Upon inspection, the officer found that a pile of documents had caught hearth.

“The officer alerted the firemen after failing to douse the flames with a hearth extinguisher.”
Unique , the commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, revealed that the hearth originated on the first flooring of the constructing and quickly unfold to the second and third flooring, inflicting significant damage to the complete construction.
The blaze was so intense that it caused the roof of the constructing to break down. The Metropolitan Police Bureau commissioner confirmed that the injury sustained was in depth, with the complete building badly affected.
