Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and full metering techniques. The firm employs round 1200 folks and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a long tradition of supporting customers and growing leading industrial move expertise for environment friendly, precise and protected dealing with of fluids,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are constructing our presence and technology offering inside positive displacement pumps.”
Geveke, which was founded in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers superior and complex course of pump installations. เพรสเชอร์เกจดิจิตอล is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 staff and had revenues of approximately €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has strong engineering capability, offering full industrial pump solutions from concept to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is expected to be completed through the second quarter 2022.
The major a half of the acquired businesses will have its base in the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be a part of the Service division inside Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
