Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister firm Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million greenback contracts to support the ITER challenge in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps whereas Energy Steel will supply sixty two solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER project is a joint international research and improvement challenge to reveal the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. The demonstration facility is under building in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and would be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.
Hayward Tyler’s booster pumps will be an integral a part of the drying system for the Tokamak Cooling Water System (TCWS). The pumps shall be designed, constructed and examined at Hayward Tyler Inc in Colchester, Vermont, USA.
