Pump protection and circulate control expertise firm Circor Pipeline Engineering has provided a buyer with a rapid opening closure (ROC) for a 48-in fuel filter vessel inside 10 weeks.
A ROC supplies a fast opening entry point to pipelines or strain vessels, for the set up or elimination of apparatus.
Built by Pipeline Engineering in Catterick, UK, the 48-in ASME U-Stamp massive ROC closure needed to be delivered to the client in Houston, Texas in 10 weeks. It was constructed and delivered on time using the model new massive Vertical Turning Center (VTC) put in in Catterick in 2020 to scale back manufacturing lead time.
Following the supply, Pipeline Engineering provided assist with installation and welding from its Houston facility.
