Sulzer has to quickly suspend the actions of its two legal entities in Poland – Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland – due to sanctions levied by the Polish authorities on its Russian minority shareholder Viktor Vekselberg.

The Swiss engineering group believes that the sanctions towards its two entities in Poland are faulty and says that Vekselberg has no management or ownership of any Sulzer entity.
The firm says it’ll continue to do every thing in its power to petition for a removal from the sanctions listing, while totally complying with the sanctions at present levied in opposition to Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland.
Case study has 192 staff in Poland and the group is constant to supply support to the households impacted by the local Polish sanctions.
If the suspension had been to final, the potential impression on Sulzer’s sales is proscribed to CHF21 million, which represents 0.6% of the group’s complete sales in 2021.
Sulzer isn’t sanctioned in some other country or authorized entity.
