“Washington, DC is a vital world crossroads for the various set of stakeholders who work collectively in the path of fixing water challenges around the globe,” said Patrick Decker, president and CEO of Xylem. “By locating our world headquarters right here, we place ourselves proper the place the water sector is most engaged.”
Decker and numerous senior Xylem leaders might be primarily based in the new headquarters.
“We’ll be in a position to cut back complexity, with a lean headquarters, at the same time as we build closer relationships with all those in the international water neighborhood working to resolve the most important challenges, and promote global water sustainability,” stated Decker.
Xylem’s new headquarters will be co-located with the Reservoir Center for Water Solutions, a hub for multi-party, water-focused stakeholder collaboration, in the historic Navy Yard district alongside the Anacostia River. Best for Water Solutions is expected to open in June.
