Starting Ultimate , the mandatory quarantine period for vaccinated travellers getting into Thailand shall be reduced from 14 days to seven. Those who are both unvaccinated, or who cannot present proof of their vaccination status, face a longer quarantine interval of between 10 to 14 days.
The necessary isolation interval is waived for vaccinated travellers coming into Thailand through the pilot reopening initiatives on the islands of Phuket and Koh Samui. The government’s Phuket Information Centre recently introduced that visitors arriving under the Phuket “Sandbox” challenge will now solely want to remain at a SHA+ lodge for seven days.
