Micro Precision Products (a WIKA Group company) is now able to showcase another great achievement. Replicate stated in India, up to now, was produced in Palwal. The order was placed by one of the largest EPC companies on the subcontinent. The mega orifice plate was finally commissioned in Bathinda in hawaii of Punjab (Northern India).

The customer?s project schedule was tight. To meet up this, the production of such 34-millimetre thick orifice plates, manufactured from 316SS steel with a diameter of 2,690 millimetres, together with machining, testing, inspection and shipping were accelerated. The shipping of the orifice plates was completed with great care. As a bore of just one 1,275 millimetres had to be executed having an accuracy of � 0.4 millimetres, precision and great skill were required.

Regardless of the COVID-19-related lockdown, Micro Precision Products succeeded in the task. Harsh was finished with the help of a particular permit from the authorities, among other activities. The delivery schedule was met promptly. As this is a prestige project for the client, the company?s tests were of the highest standard. They were all met in full.
